Euro Nordic transports the first batch of 17 Elkem containers by rail
On the 4th of February 2021, Euro Nordic Logistics successfully transported the first batch of 17 Elkem ASA containers by rail directly from CCT Rail Terminal Moerdijk to Lyon, France.
After consolidation at Antwerp Mainhub, all containers are transported from there by train to its final destination in Lyon.
Kees Groeneveld, CEO at Euro Nordic Logistics, looks back at a successful direct rail transport from Moerdijk to Lyon: “This new service reinforces our ambitions in offering sustainable, reliable and cost-efficient logistics solutions to our customers. In close cooperation with our rail partner Lineas, we are able to offer this new connection from Moerdijk to Lyon three times a week.”
